Born in Kolkata, Kajal lives and works in New Delhi. She has held several group & solo exhibitions in New Delhi, Mumbai & London. Kajal spent her childhood in Sri Lanka and did her schooling at The Lawrence School Sanawar (Simla) where art was her major subject. She then studied Textile Design at Sophia Polytechnic, Mumbai. Her subsequent travels to all parts of India greatly influenced her work, which depicts her inborn love of nature, seen through her paintings.
